What to check before exporting
Use a clear square source image. Small favicons work best with simple shapes and strong contrast.
Output is limited to 16 megapixels and 8000 pixels per side. For animated inputs, image editing produces a static image. Browser-generated images are re-encoded and do not carry the original metadata or colour profile. Check colours and keep a separate original.
